In the event of a draw, if you included either team to win as one of the legs in your multi, and all other legs were successful, your bet will be paid as a winner, but at reduced odds.
This is because the 'team win' leg of your bet is subject to the dead heat rule, whereby the odds for that particular selection are halved (as it did not win or lose).
🔗 Multi Bet Example
You place a $10 Multi with the following selections:
🏉 Saints to beat Tigers @ $2.20
🏉 Cats to beat Lions @ $1.80
The Saints v Tigers match ends in a draw 🤝, while the Cats win. ✅
The Saints leg is subject to the Dead Heat Rule, so its effective odds are adjusted:
($2.20 ÷ 2) + 0.50 = $1.60
Your Multi is then calculated using the adjusted odds:
$10 stake × $1.60 × $1.80 = $28.80 return
💰 Your total return would be $28.80.
