All markets are subject to Dead Heat rules. This means, in the event of a tie or a draw for a position, the dividend will be calculated by the odds divided by the number of selections tied for the position.
For example...
A PointsBet client has bet on Russell Henley to finish in the Top 10 at the 2025 US Open. The client has placed a $25 bet, and it is paying odds of $5.
In the case of this Top 10 bet, Henley has finished equal 10th with Ben Griffin (their finishing positions were 10th and 11th). As a result, the total payout will be divided by 2. The payout will therefore be calculated as shown: $25 x (5.00 x 0.50) = $62.50.
