A Quaddie is a bet type for you to select the winning runner in four nominated races. Traditionally, a quaddie is usually centered around the final four races of a meet. You may select as many horses as you like but the more you select, the less percentage of the dividend you'll receive. Payouts are calculated based on the Vic Tote dividends (which will be determined after the final race in the quaddie has resulted).
In the example below, for the bet to be a potential winner, leg 1 (race 4) must be won by any of #2, #3 or #6. Leg 2 (race 5) must be won by any of #6, #7 or #8 - and so on.
In the example below, #3 won race six, #1 won race seven, #1 won race eight and #10 won race nine. This resulted in a $702.70 quaddie.
If you successfully picked the quaddie with a flexi of 40%, the payout would be calculated like this: $702.70 x 40% = $281.08
