What is a First Four?

A First Four (also known as F4) is a bet type for your selected horses (minimum four) to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in order. You may select the option "Boxed" to have your selected runners finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in any order. 

 

How do I place a First Four?

To place a First Four,

  1. Select the race you'd like to place a First Four on.
  2. Select the First Four tab.

  3. Make your selections of four or more runners in the positions for first, second, third and/or fourth.

  4. Click add to bet slip.
  5. Enter in the amount you'd like to place your First Four.

  6. Click Place Bet.

 

How will I know what my First Four will pay?

All First Four's will be paid on the dividend declared by VIC TAB. To find out which tote your First Four will pay, this will be shown on your pending bets page on the top right hand corner of the box.
